What’s the Deal with Forrest?

TVNewser readers have been wondering whether CBS News has its eye on Forrest Sawyer. The veteran newsman subbed on the CBS Evening News Saturday and Sunday nights. Insiders tell us, however, that it was most likely a one-time thing as Sawyer filled in for vacationing Russ Mitchell. Sawyer, the ABC and NBC veteran, owns his own production company which produces documentaries for a variety of outlets.
