Contacted by TVNewser on Monday, an MSNBC rep said the decision was made by the satellite radio company. An XM spokesperson said: “XM has 13 different news channels, and it regularly updates its schedule to make way for new channels.” When asked why MSNBC was being canned, the spokesperson declined to comment.![]()
“This is kind of disappointing,” an e-mailer says. “It was nice to have CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News and Headline News all available.” There’s a petition to “Save MSNBC on XM” at PetitionSpot.com (via Lost Remote). And TVNewser hears MSNBC may still have a future on the radio…
