2 Months After Hit-and-Run, Kerri Cronk Returns to KSTU Anchor Desk Full-Time

Two months after sustaining a broken neck, a dislocated shoulder and a concussion in a hit-and-run accident, KSTU anchor Kerri Cronk has returned to her full-time schedule at the station.

Cronk was riding her bicycle in August when she collided with a vehicle, which she recalls being white. Despite efforts from KSTU, the driver has not yet been found. “I’m disappointed, sure,” Cronk tells the Salt Lake Tribune. “But I’ve kind of come to terms with it. I’m not going to wallow.”

Cronk returned to her position as morning anchor at the Salt Lake City Fox-affiliate in late September. Beginning today, she will resume her full-time schedule, which also includes the 11 a.m. and noon newscasts. “If I make a mistake, I say, ‘Oh, it’s the concussion,’” Cronk joked.
