Keith Garvin, an anchor and reporter at KTVT, is leaving the Dallas CBS O&O, media blogger Ed Bark reports.

Garvin joined WTVT from WRC in 2009. He has held a variety of positions at the station, most recently as a reporter and fill-in anchor after he was replaced by Brendan Higgins at the morning anchor desk earlier this year.

“I also can say my CBS11 colleagues are not only some of the hardest working people in the industry, but many of them have become dear, lifelong friends,” Garvin said.

Garvin signs off from the station on August 20. Bark reports he has a new job lined up, but no word yet on where it may be.
