Betsy Braun Named Program Director At Hearst Stations in Boston, Manchester

Betsy Braun has been named program director for two Hearst-owned ABC-affiliates: WCVB in Boston and WMUR in Manchester.

Braun is a former vice president of programming at NBC Universal Television. She joins WCVB and WMUR from Braun Media & Marketing, a firm that specializes in digital marketing and PR campaigns for small businesses on the East Coast.

In announcing her hire, WCVB president and general manager Ben Fine said her “extensive experience in television programming will be a tremendous asset to the two stations.”

In addition to her role overseeing programming for both stations, Braun will also manage media relations for WCVB. Her first day is January 12.
