Cincinnati’s WXIX Expands Morning Newscast
Cincinnatti Fox-affiliate WXIX is tacking an extra hour onto its morning newscast beginning in September.
The expansion of news programming from 10 to 11 a.m. will bring WXIX to seven hours of news each morning, the most of any station in the market, according to WXIX.
The extra hour, which debuts September 10, will be anchored by Tracey Johnson and Frank Marzullo (pictured), the current anchors of the 9 a.m. hour. The pair will be joined by meteorologist Katy Morgan three days a week and meteorologist Jeff Creighton for the remaining two days.
