Diana Lewis Signs off Detroit’s WXYZ

After 44 years in the news business and 35 years as an anchor at WXYZ, Diana Lewis said her final goodnight last night.

There was a lot of love, and appreciation for Lewis, who announced her retirement in July. “Everyone has made me feel extra special,” she said in her 6pm sign-off. “And love, love, love you guys.”

“To everyone at home. God bless you thank you so much for loving me. I love you back.”

Many more pictures and videos are part of a Diana Lewis tribute page on the WXYZ website.
