“Not the best way to welcome out of state media to Tucson for the NCAA tournament,” noted anchor Scott Kilbury of Tucson’s KOLD last night.

While KGTV sports director Ben Higgins was reporting live in Tucson about the performance of hometown team San Diego State in their NCAA tournament game when a large, white SUV began reversing in his direction.

The SUV quickly closed ground on Higgins, who was aloof to the oncoming vehicle as he reported on San Diego State’s victory. Luckily his photographer jumped in at the nick of time and waved to the driver to stop (video above).
