KXTF, the Fox-affiliate in Twin Falls, ID, is splitting with Fox on July 1 after the two parties could not come to an agreement on network compensation.
“The rates being demanded by Fox in small markets are not seen anywhere else within the industry, including major broadcast networks,” KXTF general manager Shelly Goings said in a statement.
KXTF will continue to operate after its Fox affiliation agreement expires at the end of June. Contract negotiations are ongoing to bring This TV programming to the station, according to a KXTF statement.
