Pittsburgh’s KDKA Reports on Fugitive Mummy

“The robber kept his face under wraps, literally,” said KDKA anchor Kristine Sorenson, introducing what must have been a first for the Pittsburgh O&O: a report about a mummy on the lam.
KDKA’s Ralph Iannotti reported from Westmoreland County, where a man dressed like a mummy robbed a mini-mart while wielding a hatchet.
Police have not released surveillance footage of the robbery but KDKA helpfully displayed an artist’s interpretation of the suspect (above).
“The robber’s bizarre disguise probably looked something similar to this,” Iannotti said over an image of a man dressed up like a mummy.
