Reporter Julie Tam Leaving KXAS in Dallas

Sunday will be reporter Julie Tam‘s last day on Dallas NBC O&O KXAS.

“I have grown as a journalist, met a lot of interesting people while covering a variety of stories, and have made some friends I will cherish for life,” Tam wrote on Facebook. “But I have felt for a while that I should move on.”

Tam joined KXAS in 2010 from WDRB, the Fox-affiliate in Louisville. In her announcement, she said she will focus on her business — a website that edits college applications, school assignments, resumes and other written material — while she weighs her “options for what to do next (and beyond).”
