SF Bay Area Anchor to Join ‘Good Day LA’

tellez_cropped_2Marla Tellez is joining Los Angeles FOX owned station KTTV as co-anchor for “Good Day L.A.”

Tellez comes from KNTV in the San Francisco Bay Area market where she was an anchor and reporter. She starts at KTTV on January 7.

Kevin Hale, KTTV vice president and general manager, said in a statement, “Marla’s extensive news anchoring experience and warm engaging personality will be a great addition to our morning ensemble.”

Before KNTV, Tellez worked at KOB in Albuquerque, NM. She has also worked as a reporter for HDNet World Report, KPIX in San Francisco and KION in Salinas-Monterey, CA, and as a producer for KPIX and KFTY in Santa Rosa, CA.
