After nine years at WDIO, sports director Josh Zenner signed off from the Duluth ABC-affiliate on Friday night.

Zenner joined the station in 2003, spending three years as a general assignment reporter before switching to sports in 2006. According to WDIO, he is relocating to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area to pursue a career in freelance video photography and production.

“So many amazing stories, amazing people that I’ve met in this community,” Zenner said during his last newscast. “Stuff that I’m never going to forget. It’s only going to help me later in life and my career.”
