WBIN, an independent station serving Boston and New Hampshire, is teaming up with Bloomberg TV and the Washington Post to present a Republican presidential debate focused on the economy.
The debate, slated for October 11, will air on both WBIN and Bloomberg TV. It will be moderated by Charlie Rose, who will ask candidates to detail their job-creation proposals while seated at a round table, surrounded by audience members at Dartmouth College.
WBIN, formerly known as MyNetworkTV affiliate WMYZ, was purchased earlier this year by Carlisle One Media. The station, which has not produced a local newscast since 2009, added a 10 p.m. newscast — anchored by Amanda Decker and Kyle Dennis — to their programming lineup last week. Read more
