Amanda Perez Joins KPRC From KFSN

Amanda Perez is joining Houston NBC affiliate KPRC as a reporter, according to Houston media blogger Mike McGuff.

Perez has been a reporter and weekend anchor at KFSN, the ABC O&O in Fresno, since 2006. “It has been an absolute honor to work with the members of the Action News team, who strive to produce the best newscast in the Valley every single day,” Perez wrote on Facebook. “You can’t ask for better coworkers.”

Perez has previously worked at KPRC as an editor. According to McGuff, she begins in her new role on April 8.
