Virginia Cha joins KGTV in San Diego as the station’s weeknight 5:30 p.m. anchor, after working as a freelance anchor at CNN.

Isis Romero has been promoted to anchor the weeknight 10 p.m. newscast at KSAT in San Antonio.  Romero previously served as a weekend anchor for the ABC-affiliate.

Suzanne Marques becomes the new entertainment reporter at KCBS-KCAL in LA.  Prior to KCBS-KCAL, Marques was a reporter on KTTV’s “Good Day LA.”

After just two months as a reporter and weekend anchor at WTNH, Anne Craig has been promoted to weekday morning anchor.

“We are always excited to promote from within, and Anne’s time on Good Morning Connecticut Weekend showed us that she could transition nicely to weekday mornings,” WTNH news director Erik Schrader said in a statement.

Craig will co-anchor the newscast with Chris Velardi. She replaces Kristen Cusato, who left the Hartford-New Haven ABC-affiliate last week to join the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut as a regional director.

Lucy Noland joins KNBC in Los Angeles, anchoring the station’s midday and 5 p.m. newscasts during the week.

Ken Barlow becomes a weeknight meteorologist at KSTP in Minneapolis-St. Paul, from KXTV in Sacramento.

Chita Johnson joins KHOU in Houston as the 4 p.m. weeknight meteorologist from morning meteorologist at KRCR in Redding, CA. Read more

Anne Craig, who left New York City’s WNYW in April after her contract was not renewed, has joined WTNH as a reporter and weekend anchor.

Craig left WNYW, the Fox owned-and-operated station in New York City, after eight years as a general assignment reporter with a focus on entertainment.

“Anne is a proven journalist and anchor who will complement the strongest and most experienced team of reporters, anchors and photographers in Connecticut broadcasting,” managing editor John Bell said in a statement. “Anne is a terrific addition to the News 8 team.”

Before joining WNYW, Craig also worked at WOFL, the Fox O&O in Orlando. Her first day at the Hartford-New Haven ABC affiliate is today.
