Hartford’s WTIC Partners With Local Newspaper

Hartford Fox-affiliate WTIC has announced a partnership with a local newspaper in the region, the Merdian Record-Journal.

The station has built a studio in the Record-Journal newsroom, according to a station statement on the partnership. The WTIC 4 p.m. newscast, which is anchored by Brent Hardin, will feature live reports by the newspaper’s reporters.

“Any opportunity where we can share local content is a win-win for the viewers and readers of these two outstanding news organizations,” WTIC vice president and general manager Rich Graziano said in a statement.

Arias, meanwhile, will be setting her alarm a little bit earlier: on September 19, she will replace French as Logan Byrnes‘ co-anchor on the morning show, from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Read more
