Glenn Schwartz Set to Return to WCAU Next Week

WCAU chief meteorologist Glenn “Hurricane” Schwartz will return to the Philadelphia NBC O&O on Monday, eight weeks after undergoing double bypass surgery.

“I feel great,” Schwartz said in a recent segment on WCAU. “I got the news that I was expecting because I do feel like I’m ready to go back to driving and go back to work. I have more and more energy all the time.”

Schwartz will continue with cardiac rehab three times a week after he makes his part-time return to WCAU next week. In his absence, the station ran a series on the importance of heart health.
