Meteorologist Hallie Shulman Jumping to KCTV

Hallie Shulman will be joining Kansas City CBS affiliate KCTV.

“I have some EXCITING news to share! I have officially accepted the weekend morning meteorologist position in Kansas City at KCTV,” Shulman wrote on her facebook page. “Thank you for your patience, acceptance, and friendliness over the past two and half years. The people and experiences that I’ve encountered in this community, I will never forget! Wish me luck!”

Shulman comes to KCTV from Wichita ABC affiliate KAKE.  She started at KAKE in September 2010. Read more

KNXV To Launch Weekend Morning News

KNXV, the ABC affiliate for Phoenix, has announced it will add a weekend morning newscast beginning next Saturday, January 19.

The station will move “Good Morning America Weekend” to 7 a.m., with the new local news airing from 5 to 7 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday will include an extra hour of  local news from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. following GMA.

Christopher Sign and meteorologist Iris Hermosillo, who came to the station in November, will anchor the weekend newscasts.

Kelly O’Connell joins KCPQ in Seattle as an anchor and reporter. Previously, O’Connell was an anchor at KGAN in Cedar Rapids.

Meteorologist Iris Hermosillo joins KNXV in Phoenix from KCTV in Kansas City.

Bill Young jumps 47 markets as he becomes the morning anchor at KOKH in Oklahoma City. He will be leaving KFOX in El Paso. Read more
