Lauren Cohn To Leave Philadelphia’s WTXF

The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting Lauren Cohn will be leaving Philadelphia FOX O&O WTXF at the end of the year.

Cohn joined WTXF two years ago as a reporter and anchor for the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. news.

She previously worked at WPIX in New York, WLIG (now WLNY) in Long Island, KJEO (now KGPE) in Fresno, CA, WEWS in Cleveland, WLS and WFLD in Chicago and WCAU in Philadelphia.

Mike Missanelli Apologizes for Cursing on Hot Mic

Mike Missanelli, Philadelphia sports radio personality and WTXF contributer, apologized to viewers last night for accidentally cursing on-air during WTXF’s 5 p.m. newscast.

“Even though I thought my microphone was off, my language was inappropriate,” Missanelli told viewers during the 10 p.m. newscast. “From the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry” (video above).

Earlier in the evening, Missanelli spoke to WTXF anchor Thomas Drayton from his radio studio at 97.5 FM. Following the segment, as anchor Lauren Cohn teased upcoming stories, Missanelli is clearly heard yelling, “Dude, what the f—? Same bullsh– happens all the time!” Read more
