LuAnne Sorrell moves to WOFL in Orlando as morning anchor, from WSVN in Miami, where she has been the weekend morning anchor.

Lisa Chavarria returns home to Chicago as a reporter for WFLD. Previously, Chavarria was a reporter for KHOU in Houston.

Brandon Gunnoe joins WHDH in Boston as weekend evening anchor and reporter. Most recently, Gunnoe was weekend anchor for KVOA in Tucson. Read more

Phil Anaya Named Weekend Anchor at KENS

Phil Anaya is stepping into the weekend anchor role at KENS, the CBS-affiliate in San Antonio.

Anaya joined KENS in June as a reporter. He will co-anchor the weekend newscasts with Karen Grace beginning April 28.

“We conducted an extensive search and auditioned countless candidates from around the country, but the very best person for the job was already right here in our newsroom,” KENS president and general manager Robert McGann said in a statement.

Anaya replaces Christopher Heath, who joined WKEF in Dayton last year.

After two years at Phoenix’s KNXV, Rudabeh Shahbazi joins KABC in Los Angeles as  a reporter.

Kimberly Curth moves to a reporter at WSMV in Nashville. She was previously a weekend anchor and reporter at WKRG in Mobile, AL.

Justin Earely leaves KLRT in Little Rock, AR, where he was the weekend anchor for four years. He joins KYTX in Tyler, TX, as primary anchor.

WTOL anchor Lauren Lowrey will move from Toledo to Indianapolis, where she will be a weekend anchor for WISH.
