Terry Dullum, Victor Correa Promoted at WDAZ

dullum correaWDAZ, the ABC affiliate in Grand Forks, N.D., has announced Terry Dullum (left) as the new 6 p.m. anchor and Victor Correa (right) as the new 10 p.m. anchor.

Dullum and Correa will both anchor alongside Stacie Van Dyke. They replace Rob Hudson, who resigned as the 6 and 10 p.m. co-anchor in February.

“I looked out into my own newsroom and saw two of the greatest people I have ever worked with in the business and they are already right here at WDAZ,” news director Julie Moravchik said in a statement. “So it was a thrill to promote both Terry and Victor to the positions I feel they earned. I know they will continue to serve our community well and make the viewers proud.”

Dullum, a 39-year veteran of the station, will remain in his role as the 5 p.m. co-anchor. The changes go into effect April 14.

North Dakota Anchor Resigns by Email

hudson_wdazWDAZ anchor Rob Hudson has resigned from the Grand Forks, ND ABC affiliate according to The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead.

Station manager Rob Horken told The Forum he got an email from Hudson saying “effective immediately, I resign from my position as news anchor and producer at WDAZ.”

Horken said Hudson didn’t give a reason why he was resigning. Hudson started at the station in August 2012.

Rob Hudson Joins WDAZ as Evening Co-Anchor

Rob Hudson will debut later this month as evening co-anchor on WDAZ, the ABC-affiliate in Grand Forks, ND.

Hudson comes to WDAZ from KECI in Missoula, MT, where he was the morning anchor. He has previously worked at KARE in Minneapolis and KSWB in San Diego. He will co-anchor the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts alongside Molly Thorvilson beginning August 27.

“We’re really excited to have him here,” Thorvilson told the Grand Forks Herald. “We’ve been able to spend some time with him, and he’s a really nice guy, really down to Earth.”

Hudson replaces Charley Johnson, who left the station in May.

Charles Molineaux joins WAFF in Huntsville, AL, where he will be an anchor and reporter. He was most recently a reporter at WAGA in Atlanta.

Michelle Molison moves to KMTV in Omaha from KTVK in Phoenix. At KMTV, she will anchor and report for the morning newscast.

KECI morning anchor Rob Hudson moves to from Missoula, MT to Fargo, ND as he joins WDAZ as evening co-anchor. Read more

KLEW sports director Jay Tust leaves Lewiston, ID to become one of two sports reporters/anchors at KTVB in Boise.

Reporter Navideh Forghani jumps 102 markets from WAGT in Augusta to KNXV in Phoenix.

Josh Egbert is headed to KHAS in the Hastings/Lincoln market. Egbert will report and fill-in anchor for the NBC-affiliate. He comes from KTVH in Helena, MT (a 100-market jump).

Rob Hudson, formerly the host of “Showcase Minnesota” on KARE in Minneapolis/St.Paul, is now the morning anchor for “Montana Today” on KECI, the NBC-affiliate in Missoula, MT.
