Zev Shalev joins WPIX as executive producer of the morning newscast.

Guy Rawlings joins KTVT in Dallas as a sports anchor and reporter. Previously, Rawlings worked at WGCL in Atlanta.

Lori Wilson has been promoted to main anchor at WISH in Indianapolis. She joined the station in June as the 5 p.m. anchor.

Stefanie Cruz has been named anchor of the 5 p.m. newscast at KTXL in Sacramento. She will continue to anchor the 5:30, 6 and 1o p.m. newscasts.

Stella Inger Heading South to KGUN

Inger_croppedStella Inger, former anchor and reporter for Phoenix, AZ, Independent station KTVK is heading to Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN.

Inger left KTVK this week, telling facebook fans on Monday, “Enjoying my last 2 days at #3TV. It’s been a blast & I thank you all for welcoming me into your homes! Excited about what’s next. Will keep you posted!”

KGUN news director Tom Burke confirmed with TVSpy, Inger will join Guy Atchley on the weekday 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. newscasts beginning October 29.

Diana Perez joins ABC News as a New York-based NewsOne correspondent. She previously was a reporter and anchor at WBZ in Boston.

WNYW reporter Katherine Creag joins rival WNBC in New York City.

MLB Network host Lisa Kerney joins WCBS in New York City as a sportscaster and feature reporter.

Six Weeks After Being Laid Off, Jenifer Daniels Rejoins KPSP as Morning Anchor

Jenifer Daniels, a former KPSP meteorologist and reporter who was laid off when the station merged with KESQ earlier this year, is returning to the Palm Springs CBS-affiliate.

Daniels said she was contacted after two KPSP anchors, Todd Piro and Stella Inger, accepted jobs at other stations. Piro joined WVIT in Hartford and Inger joined KTVK in Phoenix.

“It confirms to me what they’ve been saying all along — that they really do believe in the CBS 2 and the KPSP branding,” Daniels, who has been collecting unemployment for six weeks, told the Desert Sun. “When they could’ve hired outside, they went back to the people who, unfortunately, like me, who didn’t make the cut.”

Daniels will anchor the station’s morning newscast beginning Monday.

Anchor Stella Inger Joining KTVK From KPSP

KPSP morning anchor Stella Inger has been hired at KTVK, the independent station in Phoenix.

Inger was the morning anchor at Palm Springs CBS-affiliate KPSP, and she will serve in the same role at KTVK.

“I love the mornings because I’m able to show my personality more and have a great time while still bringing the viewers the news,” Inger told the Desert Sun. “Waking up with people — I love it.”

Inger has worked at KPSP since 2008. Her last day at the station will be February 29, and she will begin at KTVK in mid-March.
