A KOKI news crew was on location in Tulsa, along with a couple of police officers, for a story about a house that had hit by Roman Candles when they were attacked with fireworks.

KOKI reporter Dontaye Carter was hit in the back of the head and an officer was hit as well. Both men escaped without serious injuries.

Following the attack, police engaged in a shouting match with neighbors and Carter is seen on video trying to break up the argument (video inside).
