VIDEO: New England Anchor Reports Celtics Playoff Game Ended in Tie

The Boston Celtics beat the Miami Heat in overtime on Sunday night, evening their best-of-seven NBA Eastern Conference Championship series at 2-2.

But when anchor Meghan Torjussen of WMTW in Portland, ME went to do the sports update during the station’s 11 p.m. newscast Sunday, the game had apparently just ended regulation so Torjussen reported that the contest had ended in a tie (video above).

WMTW had a chance to correct the sports report following a commercial break, but that didn’t happen. [Via Deadspin]
