‘Washington’s Most Wanted’ Special on KCPQ Leads to Top Fugitive Capture

A special “Washington’s Most Wanted” episode on KCPQ about drivers wanted on felony DUI arrests led to the capture of a top fugitive over the weekend.

Cindy Lou Kreutz, who was wanted on $400,000 in outstanding warrants for DUI and driving with a suspended license, was arrested Sunday after a viewer recognized her from Friday’s edition of “Washington’s Most Wanted” and called 911. Kreutz was arrested less than 20 minutes later, according to the Seattle Fox affiliate.

“Once again, Washington’s Most Wanted’s viewers show how much they care about the safety of our communities,” “Washington’s Most Wanted” host David Rose said in a statement. “I commend the tipster who helped bring this serial drunk driver to justice.  One life lost is too many and her arrest gets a dangerous fugitive out from behind the wheel.”

In a statement on the arrest, Kitsap County deputy Scott Wilson called the show “a perfect partnership and a great team effort” to catch criminals. The show recently celebrated the capture of its 400th fugitive.
