WBBH Anchor Len Jennings to Join KMBC-KCWE
KMBC-KCWE has hired anchor Len Jennings, the Kansas City ABC-affiliate announced today.
Jennings will co-anchor the 5 and 9 p.m. newscasts alongside Kelly Eckerman. He joins KMBC from WBBH-WZVN in Fort Myers, where he has worked since 1997.
“Len brings valuable experience with him,” KMBC news director Sherrie Brown said in a statement. “His reporting skills and strong work ethic are the perfect compliment to our news team.”
WBBH general manager Steve Pontius told staffers today that Jennings’ last day at WBBH will be May 23.
“It’s been great to have him as part of our team and help set the stage for him to fulfill his dreams,” Pontius said.
