Cue The Who theme music: veteran WFOR anchor Eliott Rodriguez has joined the cast of “CSI: Miami” (well, sort of).

Rodriguez recently filmed an episode of the hit CBS show in which he plays a TV anchor.  In the scene, which was filmed at the WFOR studios, Rodriguez does a special report about the escape of a dangerous federal prisoner in downtown Miami.

Rodriguez tells TVSpy that the shoot was just like “another day at the office in Miami.”

“After all, this is a very busy news town,” Rodriguez says. “In this case, fiction was not far from reality at all!”

The episode will air September 25th.
