A fight erupted outside of a Florida courtroom between families connected to a double-murder case and WFTV was there amid the chaos.

The Orlando ABC-affiliate was the only local station to capture the fight, which was eventually broken up by court deputies wielding tasers. A local police detective, who was struck in the head during the fight, told WFTV reporter Kathi Belich that in 17 years on the job, he has never seen an incident like the brawl that took place Monday (video inside).

“This is some of the craziest video we’ve ever seen,” WFTV anchor Martie Salt told viewers during a recent newscast.
