Sue Simmons is back on the 6 and 11pm newscasts on New York’s WNBC. Simmons had been off since before November sweeps recovering from back surgery.

“I just felt like the world was passing me by. On the other hand, I caught up on all my DVDs,” she tells NBCU direct.
