Joe the War Correspondent Knocks War Corresponding

joe_1-12.bmpThe cablers have had fun over the last week with the story of Joe the Plumber heading to the Middle East to cover the war in Gaza for Pajamas Media.

Now that he’s a war correspondent, Joe has some harsh words for the whole business he briefly stepped into. “I don’t think journalists should be anywhere around war,” he said. “I mean, you guys report where our troops are at, you report what’s happening day-to-day, you make a big deal out of it, I think it’s asinine…I think media should be abolished from, you know, reporting, you know. War is hell.”

This new insight on the situation is a departure from Joe’s previous statement, “You don’t want my opinion on foreign policy. I know just enough about foreign policy to probably be dangerous,” made during a Fox News interview when he was asked about agreeing “a vote for Obama is a vote for the death of Israel.”
