Hurricane Sandy Coverage Plans
TV news organizations are gearing up for covering Sandy. There is still lots of uncertainty but here is what we know so far. We will update this story as we get more information.

The Weather Channel not surprisingly, has a slew of coverage planned. “Wake Up With Al” will air this weekend starting at 5:30 AM, and 5 AM starting next week.

CBS News has announced the hiring of Seth Doane, most recently a New Delhi-based correspondent for CNN International. President of CBS News & Sports, Sean McManus calls Doane “one of the most impressive young reporters working today.” “Seth further strengthens what has developed into a very strong corps of ‘next generation’ CBS News correspondents,” McManus said. Doane will be based in New York.
