If you’ll be attending South by Southwest (SXSW) this year? If so, you should plan to participate in creating this Rockumentary because you’ll kick yourself for it later if you don’t.

And if you don’t know what SXSW is, it’s a “unique convergence of original music, independent films, and emerging technologies” – and it’s what everyone will be tweeting about from March 8-17.

So @Taco Bell has teamed with Twitter to create a marketing masterpiece in the form of a Rockumentary at @SXSW.

It’s an experimental fan-made @FeedTheBeat Rockumentary featuring two bands: Indie sensation @PassionPit and one band that hasn’t officially “made it” yet (though unofficially HAS to be included in this event) - @Wildcat! Wildcat!. And you don’t have to be at SXSW to participate.

Fans online and at SXSW – where Music, Interactive and Film all come together – have the chance for their own social media content to be featured in Feed the Beat: SXSW 2013, slated to debut in summer 2013. To be involved, fans can tweet and post images, videos and Vine videos using #FeedtheBeat now through March 11 – which will be the date of the performance by Passion Pit and Wildcat! Wildcat! live streamed from the Hype Hotel venue in Austin, TX.
