Joe Ripp, Time Inc.’s CEO, wants everyone at the company to feel the love. Adweek reports that Ripp recently gathered non-senior management for a town hall meeting to explain his ideas for the publishing house.
While the talk was about what you’d expect — magazines need to expand their brands and make a bigger digital push — the fact that Ripp even considered regular staffers was, according to an Adweek source, “a huge thing.”
“Everybody in our area walked away pumped up from the meeting,” the source continued. “They were saying that they felt good about his knowledge of the company.”
Wow, imagine that: A little consideration goes a long way.
