Professional Experience

I'm a Los Angeles writer and journalist who has published travel, fashion and lifestyle stories in international magazines. I cut my teeth on culture stories for LA magazines and soon advanced into writing and producing celebrity cover stories (Hugh Jackman, Miranda Kerr, Victoria Beckham, Jake Gyllenhaal), feature interviews (Stan Lee, First Ladies around the world), lifestyle stories, and fashion editorials for major titles. Organically I discovered a love for travel journalism when I began working with Conde Nast Traveler China for their April 2013 launch. A road trip along the California Coast got me hooked on seeing the big picture and the most intimate little details of the world around me, and sharing my perspective on it all. Since then I have explored faraway places such as Southern Patagonia, Chile. Firsthand experience is the heart of my journalism.

I hit the road with Conde Nast Traveler China photographer Wei Zhang. A great adventure through the badlands of California into Arizona, we witnessed the colossal beauty of one of America's most ruggedly picturesque states--leading us to one of the country's national treasure, the Grand Canyon.
I produced and wrote the March 2014 cover story featuring model/entrepreneur Erin Wasson.
This is a fun story I wrote about the historic subcultures of San Francisco, and how they still have an influence on the colorful city today. I collaborated with the photographer Christophe Wu to capture the spirit of the city's new bohemians.
I braved the unknown on a solo trip to Chilean Patagonia, where I met up with the amazing photographer, Julien Capmeil. We went on treacherous hikes and rollicked horseback in the most epic landscape in the world.
