I am a professionally trained cook with significant experience in writing for food and drink media outlets. My specialties include copywriting, editing (esp. recipe editing), recipe development and testing, and consulting on cookbooks. In addition, I am well published, having held a full-time position at The Daily Meal as Recipe Editor and ghost-written a series of cookbooks. In my time there, I wrote several regular columns, conducted a weekly recipe contest, managed daily newsletters, and oversaw the daily traffic requirements for the Cook section by pitching, assigning, and writing SEO-optimized stories and promoting them on the front page to maximize pageviews.
