I specialise in renewable energy analysis and deep reporting. Not just the "X company bought Y company" or has "started operating X project" sort of news articles - but getting the details of most aspects of project development; from siting and permitting through financing and construction - and also covering operations and maintenance issues. Through 5 years of lengthy exclusive interviews with CEOs, CFOs and project managers of wind and solar (both PV and CSP) and ocean energy companies, as well as government regulatory research and development agencies from the DOE and NREL to state-level utility regulators, I have an in-depth understanding of these industries. I can bring this understanding to my writing to inform the general reader, or in writing for an industry audience, as I have in the last 4 years. I conduct all my interviews on Skype and have an international reach.
