I am a freelance writer, essayist, and blogger working in Louisville, KY. I completed MFA in writing with a concentration on nonfiction in 2014 and also hold an MA in English. I have published articles, guest posts, and essays in both local and national magazine, online papers, and literary journals,, and my blog posts have been nationally syndicated. Additionally, I have many years of grant writing experience. I enjoy humor writing and writing about family/parenting, the arts, home and gardens, education (I have taught college writing for 7 years), travel, food, and women's issues, to name just a few subject matters.
