I have approximately 6 years of medical editing experience in both regulatory and academic areas and I am currently interested in freelance work. As a result of my employment at PPDI, MannKind Corp, The University of Texas at Houston, and Celgene, which required me to edit documents according to the American Medical Association Manual of Style, I am familiar with various medical conditions. I have also written continuing medical education courses as a freelancer. In addition, I have a strong background in the sciences and an understanding of medical terminology as a result of courses taken as part of my Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and my Master's Degree in Scientific Communication.
