This is a sample index for a book entitled "In Love In New York." The book focuses on places to become engaged and to get married in New York City. The client requested two indexes--a subject index and an index of the five boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island).

This is a sample edit for an unpublished author. A heavy edit was required. I met with the author, explained the difference between traditional publishing and self-publishing, explained MS Word's track changes and comments features, and suggested several options.
Editing - Light Edit

This is a sample edit. The client requested a light edit of 120 articles for "The Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs." I formatted the articles, ensured that the headings were all the same, and corrected the references following MLA style. I also created a style sheet to help at next stages of production.
