Professional Experience

I'm a writer. I blog about media, culture, motherhood, having it all, and more, and I'm the author of "Feeling My Way: Finding Motherhood Without Losing Myself," a book about integrating motherhood into my identity. I also create social media strategies that increase the visibility, reach and impact of nonprofits and other good things through my company, Good Things Consulting. I'm especially passionate about public media, health and wellness, arts and culture, helping children, and naps. Within the realm of social media, I'm especially knowledgable about blogs and Twitter. I write a mean blog strategy, and have a lot of experience editing blogs, as well. In addition, I'm the co-founder (with my husband, Jordan) of THINK IMPROV, a training company that helps people apply the concepts of improv comedy to their lives and work. We were voted an audience favorite at SXSW. You should hire us.
