Professional Experience

An energetic freelancer, I specialize in wellness and yoga--the practice, lifestyle, trends, health issues, and celebrities of the yoga and wellness world. I am a yoga teacher in New York, and I've been practicing for more than 10 years which gives me great access to people and new developments. As a journalist, I've also written a feature on an international literary festival in Brazil; conducted an interview with contemporary artist Elaine Reicheck; written many, many book reviews, and covered food: from raw foods to curry to dinner parties and family traditions. All of these subjects are passions of mine. Publications include: The New York Times, Time Out New York, Poets & Writers, Fit Yoga, Cravings.com, Drunken Boat.com, Slimfast.com, ArtKrush.com, Geist Magazine, and Quill & Quire. I also have extensive editing experience in educational publishing, both print (editor) and online (content developer, instructional designer), and I'm a solid copy editor.
