Professional Experience
My experience ranges from covering tragic events such as some of this year's mass shootings across the U.S. to producing a 6 minute report on domestic drones. My strength is finding the people and places that may be difficult to reach--which helps me to identify the strongest character story. I've done this for both short form and long form stories. I also can shoot both A and B cam with Cannon 5D and 7Ds, EX1 and EX3 cameras. I won an Emmy for my work on a story about a young amputee man from Ghana fighting for disability rights for his country. I am just as comfortable in Moore, OK in a tornado or in the oil fields of Williston, ND as I am in Half Moon Bay profiling a new start-up company. I believe I am just as effective working with a team and playing AP as I am in leading my team in the field-- I take special pride in inspiring those who are hungry to learn or pick up a camera and begin to figure out what storytelling is all about. I will always continue to learn too.
