Professional Experience

I'm a published book author, journalist, essayist, and former public radio reporter. My essays on love and relationships have been published in the "Modern Love" column of the New York Times and The Boston Globe. I also freelance for The New York Times and have helped the NYT's digital division produce multimedia supplements for my articles. A part-time journalism prof at SUNY New Paltz, I'm the author of PUBLIC RADIO: BEHIND THE VOICES (CDS/Perseus, 2006) and worked for 12 years at public radio affiliates. I have experience in ghost writing and medical writing.
