Professional Experience

I'm your classic Jill-of-all-trades. Online, I've developed tone, voice, branding elements, and overall site copy. Since I have a strong research background, I've covered topics as varied as entertainment, health/wellness, real estate, lifestyle, humor, and food. Additionally, I've researched and written newsletters, targeted email campaigns, SEO-savvy blog posts, advertorials, brochures, catalogues, video/TV/webinar scripts, slideshows, print articles, press releases, biographies, firm profiles, ad copy, social media content, quizzes, B-to-B presentations, and marketing copy. Upon request

For the past several years, I've written professional profiles for SuperLawyers and SuperDoctors. These articles showcase outstanding professionals (much like Van Wagner & Wood) who are honored by their peers.

Independent Work

REA, an agency specializing in real estate concerns, approached me to work on a project for Dena Marie Plaza, a top-tier retail space in Kingston, NY. Our clients wanted copy that was professional, elegant, and appealing to high-end retailers.

The Week

The Week contacted me to draft multiple advertorials for a global initiative sponsored by Verizon.
As promotion for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, The Week tapped me to create related content.

As part of AMC's "Movie of the Month" on-air franchise, I created complimentary original copy for all associated pages and online promotions.
When AMC transitioned into creating slideshows around its "Hollywood Icon" stunts, I developed copy and selected photos for multi-page online flip-books.
On a monthly basis, I wrote fun, light copy pushing to on-air stunts for newsletter recipients.
AMC's homepage updates multiple times a week. I was responsible for drafting short, pithy module taglines.

When WE and USA Today joined forces to help those struggling with weight issues, I created a light-hearted but informative quiz to aid those concerned about their own health and fitness levels: http://www.wetv.com/uploads/WeightlossChallenge/quiz/
As WE launched it's reality series "Skating's Next Star," I created a comedic look at the highlights (and lowlights) of this glamorous sport.
For Black History Month, WE asked me to create a page honoring three outstanding African-American women.
