Sam Frizell

I'm a staff reporter for a trade publication covering the U.S. steel industry. I've covered a range of stories, from industry lobbying on Capitol Hill to local recycling laws to proprietary company news. I also wrote for Reuters' Berlin bureau after graduating from Bowdoin College last year, and I edited Bowdoin's highly-respected weekly paper during my senior year at school. I've gained a lot of experience chasing stories and breaking news in a short amount of time, and I'm interested in freelancing outside of work. I'm eager to pitch some of the ideas I have and build up some great clips.
