Jay Leno’s Interview With President Obama Becomes Big News

President Obama has not spoken at length publicly about the NSA leaks and Edward Snowden. He hasn’t spoken at all about the worldwide terror advisory the State Department put in place before the weekend.

Given that, it isn’t a total surprise that “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno‘s interview with him last night is big news this morning, garnering frequent coverage on cable news and having clips featured near the top of the network morning shows.

The interview was also something of a swan song for Leno, who will be leaving the “Tonight Show” desk for good early next year. It will likely be his last interview with the President.

Watch a few excerpts from the interview below.
