In her last full week as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton made the TV rounds to talk about U.S. foreign policy and her own legacy.

The interviews were serious, wide-ranging, and not too confrontational. Clinton even threw in a bit of praise for CNN during that network’s interview. After the interviewer Jill Dougherty noted that she and her colleague Elise Labott have been covering her for years, Clinton responded:

Thank you. And thanks to both of you. I’ve enjoyed having you be part of the flying circus… to traverse the globe, and appreciate the attention that CNN pays to international news stories. It makes a big difference.
