Professional Experience

Does government jargon confuse you? Let me help you sort through the madness. Need help with white papers, studies, reports, contracts, and proposals? I have been writing and editing those words for years, and I speak that language well! My style is clear and concise. I love writing profiles and company histories. I can make anyone's life an interesting must-read. Ask me about personal branding. I write about wellness, music and education. I'm a copy editor, article writer, book reviewer, researcher and, I confess, a poetic teetotaler. My writing has a sense of humor when needed, but my copy is always clean. My poems have appeared in A Far Off Place and Stories of Strength and I'm the author of 1340 and Revamp Your Resume. I make my deadlines, report with accuracy, and am a pro at extracting great information from a dull source. I'm comfortable with journalism, book publishing, and corporate work. Book Reviews

Henry James wrote his "Daisy Miller" characters the way an artist would paint this canvas, contrasting his characters with lightness and darkness. Both Daisy and Winterbourne share an independent viewpoint, but the two differ on their approach to this viewpoint.
David Bach's book, "Start Late, Finish Rich" is directed to older readers who have neglected their savings. This message is positive to the extreme and continuously motivational. Its style is reminiscent of an infomercial script minus the cheesiness.

Edgar Allan Poe chose a suitable title to his short story, "The Fall of the House of Usher." This title is symbolic as it suggests both the last of the Ushers, Roderick and Madeline, and the decaying mansion where they live.

Ethnography

Ron is my last interview and the work week is coming to an end. Publications like Rolling Stone are always covering politics and government in a dim light. On a whole, I'm sure that's true.
As I drive west towards the majestic Rocky Mountains along the flight line, a steel gray jumbo military airplane's propellers are whirling and about a dozen or so camouflaged airmen are lined up getting ready to board. The sun is still rising as I park my Land Rover in the lot by the radio tower.
