Jennifer Gray Joins CNN From WTVJ

jennifer gray cnn_304x200Jennifer Gray has joined CNN as an Atlanta-based meteorologist, the network’s vice president of newsgathering Terence Burke announced today.

“Jennifer brings a versatile skill set as a meteorologist,” Burke said in a statement. “She will be a great addition for CNN with her experience in production, multimedia and reporting in the field.”

Gray comes from WTVJ, the NBC owned station in Miami, where she was the weekend morning meteorologist and feature reporter. She returned to the station in 2011 after getting divorced from her husband. During her first stint at WTVJ, from 2007-09, she was known by her married name, Jennifer Reeves.

KMGH Morning Anchor Ana Cabrera Joins CNN

After four years at Denver ABC affiliate KMGH, Ana Cabrera is joining CNN.

Cabrera joined KMGH as a reporter and weekend morning anchor and was promoted to weekday morning anchor in 2011. She will be a Denver-based correspondent for CNN.

“Cabrera is an incisive and versatile communicator,” CNN/U.S. vice president of newsgathering Terence Burke said in a statement. “Her award-winning journalism is a testament to her passion for telling the multitude of stories from Denver and the western region.”

Before joining KMGH, Cabrera worked at KHQ and KAYU in Spokane. She began her career as intern for KMGH and KCNC, the CBS O&O in Denver.

KNBC Anchor Stephanie Elam Joins CNN

Stephanie Elam is joining CNN as a Los Angeles-based correspondent. Elam comes from KNBC, the NBC owned station in Los Angeles, where she is the weekend evening anchor.

It is a return to CNN for Elam, who worked as a business news correspondent for the network before joining KNBC in 2011.

“Stephanie is an excellent communicator and tenacious reporter, and we are pleased to have her back as a part of the CNN family,” CNN vice president of newsgathering Terence Burke said in a statement.
